    The method

Every stock gets the same three questions.

The verdict on each question is free. The evidence behind it is Pro.

    01

    Is it a great business?

Six checks, one score out of five: return on capital, free cash flow, growth, margins, debt and share count.

    02

Can you buy it at a great price?

Steady earnings times a fair multiple, minus a safety margin. One fair value next to today's price.

    03

Can you reliably predict its future?

Ten years of sales and profit on one page. How steady the business is, you judge.

    Questions

    What is Marketdaddy?

A stock research tool for value investors. Every company gets the same three questions: is it a great business, can you buy it at a great price, can you predict its future. Data answers the first two. You answer the third.

Where do the numbers come from?

From the companies' own filings with the US SEC: annual reports (10-K, 20-F) and quarterly reports. Every stock page links to the report it uses.

    Is this investment advice?

No. It shows how a public method scores public numbers. It doesn't know your situation and won't tell you what to buy.

    Why only five stocks?

This is a test. Five stocks are fully open so you can judge the method. The rest opens with early access, the most requested first.

    What will it cost?

Free: the verdict on every stock, plus the five open analyses in full. Pro is €12 a month or €99 a year, VAT included, and opens the evidence behind every verdict. Founder is €250 once for life, for the first 250 on the list. You pay nothing before launch.

How is the fair value calculated?

Steady earnings per share times a fair multiple. The multiple starts at 15, the price of an average business, and moves with growth, return on capital, debt and margins. Then a safety margin of 20 to 40% comes off, depending on how predictable the business is to you.

    Who is behind it?

One private investor, using the method with real money since October 2020. Holdings and record are public on the track record page.
